that引导的宾语从句我们以前学过名词、代词、动词不定式或动词的-ing形式作宾语。当一个句子跟在动词后面作宾语时,我们把该句子称为宾语从句。宾语从句根据引导词的不同可分为三种类型:that引导的宾语从句、whether/if引导的宾语从句和疑问词引导的宾语从句。学习宾语从句要注意三个方面:引导词、语序和时态。请仔细观察下面的例子,然后补全结论部分中所缺内容。【例子】1.TheSmithshavereturned.Tonyknows.→Tonyknows(that)theSmithshavereturned.2.Wecangetthebestscoreineverymatch.Ourcoachhopes.→Ourcoachhopes(that)wecangetthebestscoreineverymatch3.Peterwillgetonwellwithhisclassmates.Motherthinks.→Motherthinks(that)Peterwillgetonwellwithhisclassmates.4.Sallywashavingbreakfastat7:00amyesterday.Tomsaid.→Tomsaid(that)Sallywashavingbreakfastat7:00amyesterday.5.SusanvisitedtheGreatWall.Bettybelieved.→Bettybelieved(that)SusanvisitedtheGreatWall.6.Theearthmovesaroundthesun.Theteachersaid.→Theteachersaid(that)theearthmovesaroundthesun.【结论】1.通过观察我们发现,用一个陈述句作宾语时,宾语从句用that引导;that只起连接作用,没有实际意义,也不在从句中充当任何成分,因此常省略。
