Unit8AtChristmas第二课时(Grammartime&Funtime)一、教学来源： Grammar time & Fun time 二、教学内容： 1. 学生掌握单词first, next, then, finally, pretty things, Christmas Eve等。 2. 学生运用First/Next/Then/Finally展开话题讨论，并进行语言描述。 3. 制作圣诞贺卡并运用First/Next/Then/Finally描述卡片制作过程。 三、教学重难点： 1. 掌握单词first, next, then, finally, pretty things, Christmas Eve等。 2. 能运用First/Next/Then/Finally表示先后顺序的副词进行语言描述。 教学过程： Step 1 Warming up 1. Talk about the video and the numbers 12 22 24 25. Lead in the topic. 2. Talk about the things and activities on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.  What things do we need for Christmas Eve/ Christmas Day? What do we do on Christmas Eve/ Christmas Day? 3. Think and say the orders of the activities about Christmas presents. 4. Think and share: How is Christmas? （设计意图：通过数字游戏，12.22为上课日期，12.24平安夜，12.25圣诞节导入话题，真实的信息沟激发学生的学习兴趣。通过自由谈论的形式，谈论平安夜及圣诞节我们需要准备的物品和做的事情及对教师给出的活动进行排序，激发学生的已有知识储备并使学生在真是的语境中进行语言交际。） Step 2 Presentation 3 1. Review story time   Ask the students to retell the story with the help of the pictures and key words. 2. Present and learn (1) Make story time into a short story, choose one sentence for each paragraph. (2) Present grammar time and talk about first, next, then and finally. (3) Complete Mike’s passage on the book.  (4) Make a new Christmas story with the help of the pictures: What do you do at Christmas? Then think and share: I think Christmas is..., because we... （设计意图：利用Story time部分的插图及关键词，帮助学生复习文本内容，巩固已学知识。通过将课文每段提炼出一句关键句的形式，加深学生对文本知识的理解与掌握。找出的关键句也恰恰是语法部分的内容，语法知识在活动中自然呈现出来。利用语法部分的图片内容，让学生再造故事，拓展语用能力。） 3. Talk about the picture book Jill’s Christmas. (1) Look and answer: How is Jill’s Christmas?      Is she happy or not? (2) Read and answer: What’s Jill’s problem？ What’s Jill’s idea? (3) Stick and say: How to help Jill to get the presents? (4) Think and share: Who else helped Jill?  Why? （设计意图：利用原版圣诞绘本的再编，促进学生对于语法知识的运用。四个简单的问题，从How? What? How? Who?四个层层递进的问题，帮助学生理解感知文本内容。该绘本情感方面表达的是家长对孩子的爱，为孩子达成圣诞心愿的故事，为下一环节做了铺垫。） Step 3 Practice and consolidation 1. Learn to make the Christmas card. T: Jill is very happy. She wants to make a little surprise to her parents. 3 (1) Look and say: What does Jill want to do?        Present: make a Christmas card (2) Look and learn: To make a Christmas card, what do you do to make a card?         Learn the phrases and teach: fold, message (3) Think and say: How to make a Christmas card in orders? Watch and say the teacher’s way to make a Christmas card. 2. Think and share: What do you want to for your parents at Christmas?                   How? （设计意图：紧密衔接上一环节家长对于孩子的爱这一情感线，帮助孩子一起来为父母做点事情，自然导入圣诞贺卡制作这一环节。圣诞卡片的制作，并不是完全按环节照搬，而是让学生通过看图说内容，自己说说正确的顺序这一较为开放的形式，帮助学生英语能力的行成。） Step 4 Summary Try to use first, next, then and finally to say about this lesson. Step5 Homework 1. Make a Christmas card for your family or friends. 2. Make a little surprise to your family for Christmas, write down your plans first3
